LISA ERICKSON
Ballet 

Lisa Erickson has trained extensively, including with master teachers of Ballet West, Joffrey and American Ballet Theatre.  Her performing experience includes dancing (and touring) with the Christopher Ballet in Michigan, National Academy of Dance, and the University of Illinois in Champaign and here with Loyce Houlton’s Minnesota Dance Theatre.  A love and passion for ballet and an eager, analytical eye for dance led her to teach back in 1986.  Now, after over 20 years of teaching, sharing her enthusiasm for life and the art she loves, teaching has become not only her vocation and joy, but her mission in life-helping, encouraging and inspiring others to nurture, enjoy and appreciate themselves, their art and their talent.
