ARTURO MILES
Hip-Hop 

Originally from Mexico City, Arturo has been dancing and performing in Minneapolis since the late 90’s. His focus is in Hip-hop, House and Waacking dance styles. His work has been featured at Intermedia Arts, The Cowles Center for Performing Arts, The Southern Theater and Illusion Theater. While he was the Program Director and Curator at Patrick’s Cabaret his work explored Performance Art, Modern Dance and Short Film. A founding member of Hip-hop based companies The Hip-hop Co-op, Collective and INC. He has performed with Three Dances Company, B-Boy J-Sun, Deborah Jinza Thayer, Penny Freeh, The Lovemelts, Dykes Do Drag, Gamut Gallery and City Wide Artists. It is common to see him rocking out to local DJ’s throwing down House, Techno, and Hip-hop.
