Artist Biography:

JT Weaver is from Eagan, Minnesota – he holds a BFA in dance from the University of Minnesota. He grew up in sports & studio dance training in baseball, football, basketball, soccer, track, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip-hop. He has found his passion within contemporary & urban styled movement. He’s currently a member of Minneapolis based dance companies Zenon Dance Company & Black Label Movement. In the past, he has performed with Daara Dance Company, ARENA Dances, STRONGmovement, Crash Dance Productions & the Minnesota Opera and has worked with Brian Brooks & Gregory Dolbashian. He spends time exploring his aesthetics through movement improvisation and playing with choreography, music & film.
