Artist Biography:

Leslie O’Neill has danced for Zenon Dance Company since 2006. She began formal training at age 18 at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and received her BFA in Dance from the University of MN in 2003. Leslie has received Sage Award Nominations in 2009 and 2016 for her outstanding performances and was awarded the McKnight Fellowship for Dancers in 2010. Her choreography has been supported by Red Eye Theater, MRAC, MSAB, and the Walker Arts Center in conjunction with Jerome Foundation. Leslie offers her warmest hugs and gratitude to Linda Z and all the past and current Zenon dancers, as this will be her last performing season with the company. She thanks her husband Gregg for his constant support and patience the last 12 years, and lastly, she dedicates her final season in Zenon to her father Tim who passed away this spring, but always loved to see her “flail” on stage.
