Artist Biography:

Emilia Bruno, originally from Lake Zurich, IL, is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with degrees in Dance and Kinesiology. While at the University, Emilia had the opportunity to work with a variety of artists including Sidra Bell, Gregory Vuyani Maqoma, Brian Brooks, Marcus Jarrell Willis, luciana achugar, the Martha Graham Dance Company, Gregory Dolbashian, Maurya Kerr, and Wynn Fricke, as well as U of M faculty Carl Flink, Michel Kouakou, Joanie Smith, and Erin Thompson. In addition to working with Zenon, Emilia humbly expresses her artistic passion as a member of Shapiro & Smith Dance Company, and newly established SLO Movement– developed and led by local Minneapolis artist, Laura Osterhaus.
